Join us for an overview and update from two top investment firms.

Robert from ALM First will cover:

Managing a fixed-income portfolio is more than just picking a bond. Professional portfolio managers must rely on a thorough investment process that lays the foundation for generating superior risk-adjusted returns over a long time horizon. This webinar will discuss the key components of a thoughtful investment process and decision making framework. Establishing a well-defined investment process is vital for a financial institution’s success, especially in fast-
changing markets and regulatory environments.

  • Understand an institutional portfolio management framework
  • Define investment philosophy and strategy
  • Identify components of a thorough investment process

Brian from FMSI will cover:

Credit unions have a wide range of investment needs and an expanding universe of increasingly complex investment options.  Within the context of regulations and policies, we’ll discuss the role of investments on credit union balance sheets and their ability to support service to the membership.  There will also be a discussion of the roles that credit union officials play in the investing process.

  • Review investment options available to credit unions
  • Understand the evolution of credit union investment strategies
  • Discuss how investments “fit” onto credit unions’ balance sheets
