GRETCHEN PUTNAM GROSKY is an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of experience. Most of her career was spent with The Eagle-Tribune newspaper in North Andover, Mass., where she led a team of reporters to win the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News in 2003. As a journalist, Gretchen received hundreds of press releases and heard dozens of story pitches each week from marketers. It was her job to sort through those pitches to determine which ended up in the newspaper and which rose to the level of being a news story. Most often, she found the press releases and pitches were best suited for the trash can.
In 2013, Gretchen decided to branch out with her own media and marketing firm, armed with the experience of knowing what it takes to sell a story.
